The Types Of Prepaid Credit Cards

Almost everything in this world today requires some sort of credit card or plastic money. Unfortunately the convenience of “buy now and pay later” is beginning to take its toll on people. As debt continues to increase it is becoming more and more difficult to qualify for a credit card. Prepaid credit cards however work a little bit differently and you don’t have to qualify for anything to get one. More people are turning to prepaid credit cards for two reasons:
1. Because they have gotten so far into debt that they won’t qualify for anything else
2. Because it’s easier to stay out of debt with these cards
Since prepaid cards are exactly what they say, prepaid it is less likely for someone who buys a prepaid card to get into debt; actually it’s impossible. Since you are the one putting the money onto the card, you can only spend the allotted amount. Prepaid credit cards won’t allow you to ever overdraw so when the money’s gone, it’s really gone. And the great part about it is that you don’t have to pay anyone back for using that money. So if you’ve gotten yourself in way over your head with regular credit cards it might be time to try out a prepaid card. There’s no credit check, you’re always approved, and you never have to pay a credit card company back for anything. You’re using your own money. Here are some types of prepaid credit cards to choose from.

1. Bank Freedom Prepaid MastCard
• Costs no money to activate the card with no hidden conditions
• There is a 100% guaranteed approval with no credit check
• Free direct deposit
• Free account alerts

• Can use with bill pay

2. Vision Premier Prepaid Visa Card
• 100% guaranteed approval
• Free unlimited purchase transactions
• Free direct deposit
• Free account alerts
• Not late fees, interest charges, or NSF fees
• No maintenance fees as well as no annual or monthly fees

3. All access Visa Prepaid Card
• Unlimited purchase transactions with optional fee plan
• Approval guaranteed 100%
• No upfront payments or minimum balance required
• Free savings account with purchase
• Free instant transfers
• Free direct deposit and account alerts
• Availability for extra cards on the same account for other family members

4. AccountNow Vantage Prepaid MasterCard
• No activation fee when you load your card with direct deposit
• Free credit builder
• 100% guaranteed approval
• Free online bill pay
• Free direct deposit
• No overdraft fees
• No minimum balance required

5. Western Union Prepaid Visa Card
• No monthly fees
• Availability of having your federal tax refund loaded onto your card
• Direct deposit and online bill pay available
• No credit checks or bank account required

The major advantage to having a prepaid credit card is that you always know how much you’re spending. You don’t have to worry about spending money that you really don’t have. You deposit how much you need and spend accordingly. When the money’s gone you either put more on the card or leave the balance at zero. Check with your local banks to see if they offer the card of your choice.
