Christmas gifts made from family photos taken throughout the year can be some of the best Christmas gifts since they are personal and can bring back memories. Here are some great ideas for Christmas gifts that can be made using family photos taken throughout the year.

Summer vacation pictures

Summer vacation pictures can be used for making Christmas gifts from family photos. There are actually a lot of good Christmas gift ideas for just about everyone in the family. One of the best ideas would be to create and print a digital scrapbook of the summer vacation pictures. Parents can make a small scrapbook of summer vacation pictures for each child or kids can put one together for the whole family or for their parents.

Another great Christmas gift idea that can be made using summer vacation pictures is a cookbook. This cookbook could have some of the family’s favorite recipes and pictures of them enjoying the food during the summer.

School year pictures

Family pictures that have been taken throughout the school year can be made into a school year scrapbook. They can also be made into skins to cover laptop computers, Ipods, or cell phones. And parents can take school year pictures and make the child their own personalized notebook or stationary too.

Birthday and other family party pictures

Family pictures from birthday parties and other family parties are fun pictures. They can be used on many different types of Christmas gifts. A person can put them on T-shirts, coasters, an apron, and even on Christmas ornaments.

Pictures of children

Mom and Dad can make some great Christmas gifts for their children using pictures they have taken throughout the year of the kids. They can put the kids’ pictures on pillowcases, T-shirts, and even boxers.

Kids can take their pictures and put them in jewelry such as a necklace or a charm bracelet for their mother. And they can take their pictures and put them on a necktie or a keychain for their dad. A husband or wife could also make a blanket with a collage of their children’s pictures for their spouse.

Pictures of Mom and Dad

Kids can make a great Christmas present for their mom and dad by putting pictures of their parents on a fleece blanket. They could make a scrapbook of the dates their parents went on throughout the year too. If the husband or wife loves to cook or grill the spouse and/or the children could put a picture of them cooking or grilling on an apron or a placemat.

Pictures with Grandparents

Grandparents love pictures of their grandkids and children. Most of them would appreciate just about any Christmas gift that has family pictures on it. Some of the great ideas for Christmas gifts for grandparents using family photos include: coasters, a scrapbook, a collage poster, a blanket with family pictures on it, a calendar, stationary, and magnets for the fridge.

All year

A family could take family pictures that have been taken all year round and create a calendar. This calendar can go to grandparents, Dad could use it at his office, or the whole family could enjoy it at home. Each month could have pictures from the previous year at that same time. For example, the months of June, July, and August could have family pictures of the vacation they took that summer or going swimming or hiking. The month of December could have pictures of the previous Christmas festivities, etc.
